Early Life and High School Career

Aiden Prince lettered two years at Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee. During his senior year, he was the team captain. He received the Football and wrestling Scholar-Athlete Award all four seasons. He also participated in wrestling and weightlifting.

Aiden Prince achieved significant success during his time at Campbell University.

2020-21 Season

He became Campbell’s first ever four-time NCAA Championships qualifier and was named an NWCA Division I Scholar All-American. During the regular season, he was ranked as high as No. 7 individually at 149 pounds. In 2021, he went 10-4 overall, including a 4-0 SoCon mark. At the NCAA Championships in St. Louis, he went 2-2 as the No. 20 seed at 149. He opened the NCAA Championships with a 2-1 decision over No. 13 Mitch Moore from Oklahoma.

2019-20 Season

Aiden Prince was named NWCA First Team All-American and became Campbell's first three-time SoCon Champion, also qualifying for the NCAA Championships for a third time. As a redshirt junior, he fashioned a 29-4 record, earning a No. 8 seed in the 2020 NCAA Championships. In dual competition, he went 7-3 overall and 4-0 in SoCon action. He registered three major decisions, two tech falls, and three pins in 2019-20. He was also named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and earned the 141 pound No. 1 seed at the SoCon Championships. In the 141 finals at the SoCon Championships, he topped Chattanooga's Mason Wallace in a 6-4 decision. He outscored his first two opponents at the SoCon Championships by a 26-2 score with a pair of major decisions, defeating Davidson's David Loniewski 14-1 and The Citadel's Jacob Dado 12-1. He was ranked No. 8 in the final NCAA Coaches’ Panel of the regular season with an RPI of 10. During the season, he was ranked as high as No. 7 in the individual polls (InterMat, Nov. 27-Dec. 24). He was twice named SoCon Wrestler of the Month (November 2019, December 2019) and Wrestler of the Week (Nov. 27, Jan. 8). Aiden Prince opened the 2019-20 season with a 9-1 overall record, including a 4-1 mark against ranked opponents, earning him the SoCon November Wrestler of the Month title. In November, he posted two tournament titles, winning the 141 pound brackets at the Southeast Open and the Navy Classic. At the SE Open, he went a perfect 4-0 while defeating 18th-ranked Alex Madrigal of George Mason and 23rd-ranked Zach Sherman from North Carolina. On Nov. 23, he won his second tournament title of the month at the Navy Classic, going 4-0 on the day and topping No. 6 Kyle Shoop of Lock Haven and No. 18 Mitch Moore of Virginia Tech. After adding a Midlands Championships runner-up finish and another tournament title at the Reno TOC, he was named SoCon Wrestler of the Month for a second time in December. In December, he went 11-1 overall, racing through the Reno TOC, topping the podium for the third time in 2019-20 and going 6-0. At the Midlands, his winning streak extended to 16 matches, ending in the tournament finals to No. 7 Max Murin of Iowa, 5-3. He made the Midlands finals with a 4-2 win.

2018-19 Season

Aiden Prince was a NCAA qualifier for the second time in his career. He won his second SoCon Championship, claiming the 149 pound title. He swept through the SoCon Championships, opening with a tech fall win over The Citadel's Selwyn Porter, 16-1 (4:37), then defeating Chattanooga's Tanner Smith, 6-2. He was named All-SoCon at 149 pounds, going 6-0 in conference matches and was named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll. On the year, he registered a 24-9 overall record, including a perfect 8-0 mark in dual competition. He advanced to day two of the NCAA Championships, opening the tournament with a second period pin.

2017-18 Season

During the 2017-18 season, Aiden Prince went 11-4 while redshirting. He made the Southern Scuffle finals, the first Camel ever to make the tournament's championship round, after topping Jared Prince of Navy with a 4-3 decision, the tournament's third seed at 149, and ranked No. 11 at 141 pounds at the time. In the tournament, he also defeated two-time All-American and then No. 6 Max Thomsen of Northern Iowa, with a 3-2 decision before meeting the nation's 149 pound No. 1 Zain Retherford of Penn State, who went on to win his third NCAA Championship, in the finals (fall, 4:39).
