Expectations that are dependent on an eternal, all-powerful, omnipresent, and good God, on the other hand, are a totally different story. As Christians, we can and should expect God to fulfill the promises that He has made to us and all His people.
Though we will still have trials and tribulations in this world, “hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:5).
