Tang Soo Do Karate
A traditional Korean martial art, Tang Soo Do combines kicks, strikes, blocks, and is a powerful tool for self-defense as well as artistic expression through combative movement. Training also results in the development of individual character, discipline, respect, and physical fitness. Sa Bom Nim Kathleen Degnan teaches our Tang Soo Do classes, including the advanced Red Belt/Black Belt Class.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
BJJ emphasizes grappling, ground fighting, take downs, and submission holds and is a crucial component of a well-rounded set of self-defense skills. Students can enroll in just the BJJ program, or combine it with karate and eskrima classes. Coach Justin Metcalfe teaches all of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, which are open to students of all ages.
MMA Fundamentals
If you want to develop a deeper understanding of the application of your techniques and take your fighting skills to the next level, check out our MMA Fundamentals class. Combining striking, kicking, grappling, and offensive and defensive movements, fight theory and strategy, students can put their skills to use in a practical context. Open to all karate students, ages 13 and up. Coach Hank Hoffmann teaches our MMA Fundamentals classes.
Kali-Eskrima
Eskrima is a traditional Filipino martial art, which focuses on weapons-based fighting including sticks, blades, and “improvised” weapons, as well as empty hand techniques. It complements and enhances both our striking and grappling martial arts. The Kampilan style was developed by Guro Edie Mesina over decades of training and practical application. Instructor Chloe Washabaugh teaches our Eskrima classes, which are open to students 10 and up.

Muay Thai
Known as "the art of eight limbs," Muay Thai is a total body training discipline that will teach you how to gain an edge over an opponent using any means possible. Our Muay Thai Classes at National Martial Arts will help you develop serious total body strength while helping you learn how to efficiently strike using any part of your body. Muay Thai is the national sport and chosen martial art of Thailand. Fighters use strikes from their:

Boxing
Perhaps the most known self-defense discipline to American athletes, boxing is an art form that takes years of training and constant commitment to perfect. But at National Martial Arts, we're here to help boxers of all ages and experience learn the basics or sharpen their skills. Through individual coaching and repetition, students will learn the "sweet science of boxing". Whether you want to get in the ring someday or just have a great time working out this is the class for you!

Boxing Classes Offer The Most Comprehensive Cardio Training. There is no discipline that uses more of the body than traditional boxing and at National Martial Arts, we'll keep you in serious shape with a series of exercises and training programs designed to make you a better boxer. The name of the game in boxing is "keep your feet moving and keep your hands up." And you can't do either if you're dead tired in the ring.

Karate intro classes introduce new students to the basic kicks, strikes, blocks, and etiquette of Tang Soo Do; BJJ Intro classes are for kids to learn some of the fundamental techniques of BJJ.
