The 2024-2025 High School Wrestling season has reached its conclusion, with several states holding their final events. Among them are some of the nation’s most competitive states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania, along with Florida, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio.
Key Highlights from the Season
- Pennsylvania: In AA, No. 1 Faith Christian Academy and No. 2 Bishop McCort competed fiercely. In AAA, No. 31 Bethlehem Catholic faced strong competition from Nazareth.
- New Jersey: No. 4 St. Joseph Regional and No. 5 Delbarton battled for the top spot, with St. Joe winning the state dual meet final.
- Ohio: No. 11 St. Edward was the favorite in Division 1, leading over No. 14 Massillon Perry, No. 19 Perrysburg, and No. 23 Brecksville.
Maryland's Wrestling Scene
Maryland has expanded its state tournament to three days to accommodate the growth of girls’ wrestling, following a Thursday to Saturday schedule. While there is no official team scoring, Legacy Wrestling, a news outlet in Maryland, tabulated the team tallies.

The final rankings for the season were released, with one representative per team, ranked where they competed during the season. A final version will be available after Fargo, before graduating seniors are removed later this summer.
