The highly anticipated fight between "Iron" Mike Tyson and Jake Paul may not have delivered the fun bout that many had expected, but the event itself still gave birth to an instant classic of a moment.
Mike Tyson showed his full ass on Friday night in Texas, and we’re not talking about his fight with Jake Paul (although that wasn’t great either). In a fitting preview of what was to come, the broadcast cut to Tyson’s locker room during the amazing Amanda Serrano vs. Katie Taylor fight for a quick interview with “Iron Mike.”
Prior to the main event of the evening, Tyson was interviewed in the locker room regarding his thoughts on the bout. But it wasn't the interview itself that grabbed the headlines, as following the locker room interaction, the camera accidentally showed a shot of Tyson's bare backside as he was walking away - much to the laughter of fans on social media.
A stone faced Tyson promised a vicious win in the ring before telling the interviewer he loved him and kissing him on the cheek. He then walked away, revealing he was wearing nothing but a jockstrap that left his bare buttcheeks exposed.
What the hell was that?

Well, we can explain the kiss. That wasn’t just some random roving reporter interviewing Tyson. That was Mike’s eldest son Amir, hence all the love being shown.
As for the full moon we saw last night? What can we say ... hang out in locker rooms, and you’re gonna see some things. Tyson was getting prepared to walk out and fight Paul. The broadcast had a very small window to sneak in a quick interview between the final bell of Taylor vs. Serrano and the reading of the scorecards. That window occurred between the time Tyson put on his jock and when his shorts went on.
It was definitely one of the highlights of the event for us because it captured some of the surreal absurdity of what we were about to witness. It’s even better when you consider a ton of people were experiencing streaming issues with Netflix. There was endless buffering through the night for many, only for things to start working the moment Tyson’s rear end flashed on the screen.
Chef’s kiss, Netflix.
There aren't too many restrictions on the broadcast of the Paul-Tyson event given that it was being streamed on Netflix. Regardless, millions of fans tuned in to see Tyson return to the ring for the first time in 19 years - to see whether or not the 58-year-old had it.

All everyone was hoping for by the end of the match was that Tyson was going to make it out of there in one piece - which, to his credit, he did. Regardless, Tyson left everyone a memory they won't soon forget - tattooing the visual of his backside in the minds of the millions who tuned in.
Mike Tyson Training P.4 (No Music)
Tyson lost to Paul via unanimous decision in a fight where it was clear from round three that the 58 year old had nothing for the 27 year old upstart - shocking, we know. After catching Tyson with a few mean punches early on and realizing the elder legend could barely move around the ring, Paul resorted to staying on the outside and hitting Tyson with occasional potshots. He kept just busy enough for the fight to not devolve into complete farce ... but it was close.
