The Northwest Bigfoot Battle, an exciting event that promises to bring together young wrestling talents from all corners of the country, is part of USA Wrestling's distinguished Tour of America Folkstyle series.
Hosted in Spokane, Washington, on November 22, 2025, the Northwest Bigfoot Battle is not only a showcase of wrestling skill but also an opportunity to earn Future Olympian Ranking points.
Each event features a specific trophy design based upon the local culture, allowing participants to earn some of the most impressive trophies within youth wrestling.

USA Wrestling does not charge for adjusting weight classes, even at weigh-ins, so sign up early to guarantee your spot in the event.

Spectator Information
Clear Bag Policy:
Spectators may carry one clear plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 14” x 14” x 6”. Small clutch bags no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″ (does not have to be clear) or clear one gallon zip-top storage bags are also permitted.
Backpacks and purses larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″ will not be permitted.

Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items or single compartment diaper bags (child must be present).
No outside food, drink, or coolers are permitted inside the venue.

USA Wrestling Event Refund Policy
Your USA Wrestling event purchase through the USA Wrestling membership system (tournament entry, coaches pass, tickets, etc.) is non-refundable.

Spokane Open Highlights
At a recent Spokane Open, the Raiders sent 23 wrestlers to the tournament, 10 of whom left as top-six placers. Timothy Lopez was the runner-up at 133 pounds, and Dylan Mann was third at 157.
Christensen, a Crater High product, went 4-0 with a pin on the day. He topped Eastern Oregon's Stone Robledo by 11-1 major decision before his 5-4 win against Tripp in the championship.
Lopez recorded a fall and three consecutive technical falls to reach the 133 first-place match.
Mann got his third-place finish by going 6-1 with three pins and a major decision.
SOU, which also sent 16 wrestlers to Saturday's Life University (Ga.) Open, is back in action with a dual against Cal Poly Humboldt on Dec.
