80s Mania Wrestling Returns is a mobile game available for Android devices at Google Play and for iOS devices at the App Store. 8MWR can be classified as a pro wrestling booker, business simulator and collectible card game. It is set in the 1980s and 1990 and references pop culture from both decades.

The goal while playing is to earn Game Cash. This is accomplished by running wrestling shows. The better the show, the more Game Cash earned. From there, players can purchase better cards with which to create better wrestling shows.

Tag Teams and Alliances

These cards represent an official duo or trio of wrestlers who officially team up. Tag Teams can be optionally added to a wrestler’s side during a Tag Match in order to provide a ratings bonus for that match. Tag Team cards are obtained by unlocking. In order to unlock a Tag Team card, you must book a match with the proper two wrestlers teaming up. Note: All Tag Team cards must be unlocked using a REGULAR version of the cards.

The December 2020 Update brought the ability to create your own teams of up to 5 wrestlers plus 1 manager.

All trios are able to unlock the "Freestyle Rule" which enables any 2 members of the team to win and/or defend the tag team titles.
