AEW Collision was broadcast live from the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GalaxyCon) in Columbus, OH, showcasing thrilling matches and unexpected turns. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness provided commentary for the event, which featured Continental Classic bouts and title defenses.

Continental Classic Gold League Opener: Darby Allin vs. Komander
The night kicked off with a Continental Classic Gold League match between Darby Allin and Komander. Darby Allin used a side headlock takeover right out of the gates, a great technician in his own right. Komander fired back with an arm drag takedown. Darby captured Komander’s wrist after Komander walked the ropes and cradled Komander for a near fall. Komander rallied back with a springboard moonsault to Darby on the arena floor.
The fans chanted “Komander! Komander! Komander!” Komander blasted Darby with a thrust kick to the face. Komander jumped off the ring post with a forearm shot to Darby. Darby dodged a flip attack and rammed Komander into the steel post. Darby propped Komander in a chair at ringside. Darby charged from inside the ring to outside, flying at Komander in the chair, but Komander escaped at the last minute! Darby crashed and careened off the steel chair!
Darby and Komander collided inside the ring, their heads butting each other. Darby drilled Komander with a Code Red, but Komander kicked out at the two-count!

The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!” Komander nailed Darby with an avalanche Spanish Fly. Darby grabbed the bottom rope to break the ref’s count and save himself from being pinned. Komander was hung over the top rope and Darby splashed him with a coffin drop, then followed up with a con hiro through the ropes!
Komander planted Darby with a poison rana. Komander monkey flipped Darby on the ring apron, and then hit Darby with a tope. Komander climbed to the top turnbuckle, walked the ropes and jumped. Darby moved but Komander landed on his feet.
Tony Schiavone later announced that Darby Allin has not been cleared to continue in the tournament and will be replaced in the Gold League by “Jungle” Jack Perry.
NJPW Dynasty International Women’s Cup Qualifier Semifinal: Willow Nightingale vs. Serena Deeb
Willow Nightingale faced "The Professor" Serena Deeb in a NJPW Dynasty International Women’s Cup Qualifier Semifinal match.
Willow plowed into the Professor with a shoulder tackle. Willow went for a sit down splash, but Deeb dodged it. Willow walloped Deeb with a fisherman buster. Deeb drilled Willow with a draping neck breaker. Willow scored with two consecutive lariats. Willow planted Deeb with a spinebuster for a near fall. Deeb stunned Willow with some chops. Deeb took down Willow with a running clothesline. Deeb hit a release German Suplex.

Nightingale fought off the Deeb Tox with a big stampede power slam. Willow attempted the cannonball run in the corner, but Deeb moved out of the way. Deeb spiked Willow with the Deeb Tox but somehow Willow found the incredible determination to kick out!
Willow sent Serena soaring with a pounce! Willow pinned Deeb after the Babe With The Powerbomb finisher!
Schiavone announced, “Willow moves on to the AEW final! Next Saturday she’ll face Jamie Hater on Collision: Winter Is Coming.”
Jon Moxley's Promo and Orange Cassidy's Response
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, accompanied by the Death Riders-Marina Shafir, "The Bastard" PAC, and Wheeler Yuta-delivered a scathing promo, questioning the ambition of other wrestlers. Moxley stated that no one in the building wants to be AEW World Champion. They think they do, but they don’t.
Orange Cassidy interrupted Moxley's promo, leading to a brawl. Orange strolled calmly onto the ramp and down to the ring! Orange: “I can live without ever being the AEW World Champion. But what I can’t live with is you as the AEW World Champion. So I am going to do whatever it takes. I’m never going to stop until you are not the AEW World Champion. The only way I stop is if you kill me.”
Orange threw the microphone and his sunglasses at Mox! Marina Shafir cracked Orange from behind with the steel briefcase. The Death Riders swarmed Orange and began to stomp him. Moxley grounded and pounded Orange and then gouged Orange’s eyes! Wheeler Yuta and Pac carried Orange to the back!
FTR-Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler-were backstage! FTR stopped Mox from pouring detergent on Orange. Cash grabbed a steel pipe. Dax told the Death Riders he dared them to step one more step forward. Moxley smiled and then he and the Death Riders left the building, glaring at FTR!
Continental Classic Blue League: Kyle Fletcher vs. Kazuchika Okada
In a Continental Classic Blue League Match, The Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher faced AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada!
Kyle hooked on a side headlock. Okada escaped and Fletcher taunted him. Okada cracked Kyle with some solid forearm shots. Okada kicked Fletcher in the face. Fletcher tumbled out of the ring. Okada spiked Fletcher with a DDT on the arena floor!
Fletcher caught Okada with a draping DDT as Okada was making his return back inside the ring. Fletcher found his mark with a knee strike. Fletcher and Okada traded forearm strikes at the ten minute mark. Okada connected with a jumping back elbow and then a DDT for a near fall. Okada locked on a cobra clutch. Fletcher fired back with a half and half suplex, folding up Okada in half. Okada rallied back with a flatliner. Okada nailed Fletcher with a neck breaker and a scoop slam. Okada landed an elbow drop from the top rope. Okada dropkicked Fletcher. Fletcher rolled out of the ring to try to create some distance between himself and Okada. Fletcher escaped a tombstone piledriver attempt and sent Okada down hard with a half and half suplex on the arena floor. Fletcher power bombed Okada, but Okada kicked out at the two-count.
As the ref was distracted, Fletcher kicked Okada between the legs! Fletcher spiked Okada with a brain buster and stole the pin over Okada!
LFI’s The Beast Mortos vs. Aaron Solo
LFI’s The Beast Mortos faced Aaron Solo. The Beast bulldozed Solo with a shoulder tackle. The Beast Mortos planted Solo with a back breaker. The Beast Mortos took off Solo’s head with a discus lariat and pinned Solo!
Mina Shirakawa vs. Emi Sakura
Mina Shirakawa faced Emi Sakura, with Thunder Rosa watching from the front row. Sakura chopped away at Shirakawa. Mina rallied back, regaining momentum with swift round kicks. Emi chopped Mina in the face! Mina walloped Emi with a kick, knocking Emi down to the mat. Mina connected with a springboard kick. Emi regained momentum with a spinning neck breaker. Emi cracked Mina with a stalling back breaker. Mina clobbered Emi with a discus lariat and then a sling blade from the top rope for a near fall. Mina served up a spinning back fist and then finished off Emi with a sling blade from the top rope!
Mina will be challenging AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May this Wednesday on Dynamite: Winter Is Coming!
Continental Classic Blue League: Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe
TNT Champion Daniel Garcia faced Mark Briscoe in a Continental Classic Blue League Match.
Both men went move for move in the early minutes, feeling one another out. Garcia started to get aggressive, so Briscoe served up some redneck Kungfu! Briscoe flew through the ropes with a tope con hiro, knocking Garcia off his feet!
Garcia measured up Mark and blasted him with a John Woo style dropkick! Both men traded forearm strikes. Garcia took Mark off his feet with a clothesline. Briscoe came back with a Cactus elbow from the apron. Briscoe nailed Garcia with a running lariat. Briscoe caught Garcia with an exploder suplex and then a fisherman buster for a near fall! Briscoe drilled Garcia with a Death Valley Driver. Briscoe climbed up top, but he was cut off at the pass by Garcia. Garcia superplexed Briscoe and then spiked him with a piledriver, but Mark kicked out at the two-count!
Briscoe knocked Garcia off the top turnbuckle and then landed the froggy bow. Garcia kicked out at the two-count! Garcia blistered Briscoe’s chest with chops. Briscoe picked up Garcia and planted him with the cutthroat driver, scoring the pin and his first three points of the tournament!

The 2025 Continental Classic heats up with the entire Blue League in action. The night featured several key Continental Classic Blue League matches:

Continental Classic Blue League: Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong
We opened Collision with an interesting battle of associates, as it relates to The Conglomeration, with Orange Cassidy taking on Roderick Strong. Before the match began, Renee Paquette reported that Cassidy admitted he’s dealing with a back injury. Strong took Cassidy down to the mat and eventually worked him into the ropes, where he showed no qualms about the chops Cassidy asked him to refrain from on Dynamite. Cassidy turned it around and controlled Strong with a headlock. Strong tried to fight through with a backbreaker, but Cassidy was able to regain his control almost immediately. Finally, Strong leveled Cassidy with a chop so hard that it knocked him from the ring. Strong followed him out and laid in a few more chops that echoed throughout GalaxyCon. Strong continued the relentless attack with a backbreaker on the railing! He remained on the hunt with another chop as they returned to the ring, where Strong caught Cassidy with a brutal backbreaker across his knee. Strong continued to work over Cassidy’s back with nine backbreakers! Cassidy found a glimmer of hope with a DDT out of nowhere.
Cassidy locked his hands in his pockets to help avoid the Stronghold and launch Strong to the outside with his feet! Cassidy followed with a dive that connected with Strong. Cassidy ran Strong into three turnbuckles from the apron but was caught from the top rope when Strong hit a powerslam. Strong blocked a Stundog Millionaire, so Cassidy got a crucifix for a two-count. Cassidy nailed a springboard tornado DDT from the apron and went to the top. Still, Strong met him there, and the two jockeyed for position until Cassidy back-elbowed Strong into a precarious position straddling the middle rope the hard way. Cassidy came off the top with an elbow, and Strong found a way to kick out at two. Strong avoided an Orange Punch and nailed End of Heartache! He stacked up Cassidy, who escaped in the nick of time to keep the match alive. Strong held onto Cassidy’s legs, but Cassidy turned it into a nearfall! Cassidy came back with a Stundog Millionaire, but Strong was ready for the Orange Punch again by lifting Cassidy onto his shoulders. However, Cassidy escaped on the way down and crossed Strong’s legs to trap him in a pin that earned him the three count and his first three points!
Continental Classic Blue League: Máscara Dorada vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Castagnoli controlled early by grinding Dorada to the mat with his superior power while avoiding Dorada’s attempts to attack with his speed. A spectacular armdrag sent Castagnoli to the outside, but when Dorada tried to follow, he ran into a rising uppercut! Castagnoli gorilla-pressed Dorada onto the guardrail twice and rolled in the ring to admire his work. Dorada beat the referee’s count, only for Castagnoli to attack once again. Castagnoli didn’t feel that beating down Dorada was enough, so he started pulling at the mask, but that angered Dorada, who hit some chops and kicks until Castagnoli cut him off with an abbreviated swing. Castagnoli hit a running uppercut in the corner, but couldn’t connect on a second, and Dorada dropped him with a thrust kick. Castagnoli booted Dorada to the mat, but when he tried to grab Dorada, it was reversed with Dorada springing to his feet and then onto Castagnoli’s shoulders! He hopped to the top rope and came back with an amazing armdrag. Dorada picked up the pace with a hurricanrana that sent Castagnoli to the outside, and when he followed with a dive, Castagnoli blocked it and celebrated. Dorada took that chance to return to the ring and hit another dive that turned into an armdrag on the floor. The two traded shots into the steel steps until Dorada sprang to the second rope and swung down for a wristlock takeover to the floor!
Back in the ring, Dorada tried to get a pin, but Castagnoli powered out. Dorada went to the top only to be caught on the way down by Castagnoli, who turned the momentum into a tilt-a-whirl slam for a two count. Dorada ate a huge uppercut but managed to kick out as we heard the 10-minute warning. Dorada nailed a thrust kick, so Castagnoli came back with a massive lariat. Dorada had enough to kick out at two, although both men were showing signs of wear.
Castagnoli punished Dorada in the corner with short uppercuts until he ran into two boots. However, Castagnoli grabbed Dorada on his back and scaled the ropes, but Dorada escaped and stood on the top rope to hit a leaping hurricanrana! Dorada went back to the same corner, and Castagnoli ran to meet on the top rope with an uppercut! Dorada avoided a superplex to send Castagnoli to the mat. He followed with a shooting star press to get the pinfall and earn a huge upset!
Continental Classic Blue League: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Jon Moxley
In the main event, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family remained undefeated and moved into a tie for the top of the Blue League with a win over Jon Moxley of the Death Riders in a fantastic match. That makes Moxley 0-2 this week.
AEW National Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. Ace Austin
The AEW National Title was on the line for the second time in two nights! Last night at ROH Final Battle, in his first-ever defense of the AEW National Championship, Ricochet defeated Dalton Castle. Earlier at Final Battle Zero Hour, Ace Austin beat Lee Johnson, so both men are coming off impressive victories. Ricochet defeated Ace Austin to retain his title.
TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Leila Grey
TBS Champion Mercedes Moné survived a spirited effort from Leila Grey but secured a successful defense with the Statement Maker.
Moné attacked before the bell, immediately sending Grey to the floor. She followed with a sliding dropkick and ran down the apron to hit a meteora, but Grey ducked, so Christopher Daniels ate the pair of knees from Moné instead! Grey nailed Moné with a forearm and then put her down with a short dropkick to get a two count. She followed with a neckbreaker for another nearfall. Moné blocked an attack in the corner and slammed Grey into the turnbuckle with a head scissors. Grey missed a bulldog out of the corner, which allowed Moné to hit a Meteora for a two count. Moné stayed in control until she missed a charge in the corner. Grey fought back with a series of clotheslines and a slingblade. She hit a rising knee on Moné in the corner, but appeared to be showing damage from the match so far. Grey recovered to hit a bulldog, but Moné snatched her in the Moné Maker to get the submission victory. She held on after the bell rang, so Daniels came in to stop it, and she let go.

- FTR vs. Bang Bang Gang: FTR and Bang Bang Gang had a confrontation, setting the stage for a future title match.
- Swerve Strickland's Return: Swerve Strickland made his return, addressing his time away and his intentions to pursue the AEW World Championship. Josh Alexander interrupted, leading to a confrontation and an attack by Katsuyori Shibata.
