About RJW
Ridgewood Junior Wrestling constantly improves the quality of youth wrestling by bringing in new equipment, uniforms, professional coaches and a foundation of sustainability for all youth wrestlers. Ridgewood Junior Wrestling looks to constantly improve the quality of wrestling by bringing in new equipment, uniforms, professional coaches, sponsor at need wrestlers, and create a foundation for sustainability. It is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the standards of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Season Details
RJW’s season begins at the end of November and runs through the beginning of March. The 2025/26 season will begin in November on a date to be determined, subject to the availability of the High School gym. Practices will be same as last year, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; beginning with times and groups to be finalized before the start of the season.
Required Equipment
All youth wrestlers must have wrestling shoes, wrestling headgear and a water bottle with your wrestler’s name on it.
Rec Matches
Rec Matches are open to all wrestlers for the JRW2022-2023 season.
