Onekick Martial Arts, a well-respected name in the local martial arts community, is dedicated to instilling confidence, discipline, and leadership in students while transforming lives one kick at a time.
Nick Blomgren began training in Martial Arts in 1975. He realized early in his life that he was passionate about learning all he could about the Arts. Nick competed in various styles of Martial Arts as well as Boxing. Encouragement from his Master Instructors and peers led him to open his own training facility in 1993. He is not only an accomplished athlete but a gifted teacher of Martial Arts as well.
To date Nick Blomgren has trained more than 25 World Champions and many top contenders in various types of Martial Arts as well as Mixed Martial Arts. Some notable fighters he trained are Alfie Alcaraz, Phil Baroni, Stephan Bonnar, Steve Cantwell, Dewey Cooper, Chuck Liddell, Ray Sefo, and many more, plus many more to come. Nick is highly respected worldwide in the Martial Arts community.
Some of Nick's students having completed Black Prajioud Certification have continued on through his Instructor Training Program achieving Kru status not only recognized by One Kick's Gym but also by the United States Muay Thai Association (USMTA). All OKG instructors have completed these courses as well as learning Master Nick's unique One Kick System of teaching.
To name just a few of his many accolades he has earned Arjarn (Master Instructor) status under the United States Muay Thai Association (USMTA), was inducted into the Karate and Kickboxing Hall of Fame in 1998, inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame in 2010, and also received the Living Legend Award during his induction.

Onekick Martial Arts, a well-respected name in the local martial arts community, is opening its second location at 255 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg. This expansion comes as a response to the growing demand for quality martial arts training in the area, and it marks an exciting new chapter for Onekick Martial Arts.
The new Kentlands location will offer a variety of programs catering to different age groups and skill levels. These include kids martial arts classes, teen and adult programs, leadership training, and family classes.
