This was due to copyright issues, as the character of Pentagon Jr. is owned by the Triple A Lucha Libre WorldWide company from the time when the first Pentagon debuted.

However, it has been revealed that an agreement was reached between WWE and AAA for the wrestler to arrive with the name of Pentagon from his expected debut, which will take place on RAW.

Raw's GM did not fail in his mission as he called upon the man formerly known as Pentagon Jr. to face off against the leader of American Made. He then cut an emotional promo, where he spoke of how long he's been waiting for this moment. He called WWE his new home and said that it's a new era for Penta El Zero Miedo.

Early Career and AAA

Pentagón's career started in México in 2007. In 2011 he began working for AAA on a regular basis, using the name "Dark Dragon", while also working on the independent circuit as Zaius. As Dark Dragon he joined AAA's mid-level rudo group La Milicia.

On December 2, 2012, the Dark Dragon persona was abandoned and AAA reintroduced him as Pentagón Jr. at their major year-end show Guerra de Titanes ("War of the Titans"). He was introduced as the arch-enemy of the newly introduced Octagón Jr., just like the original Pentagón had been the storyline arch-enemy of Octagón. Octagón, Octagón Jr. and La Parka defeated Pentagón Jr., La Parka Negra and Silver Cain.

Since several wrestler who held the name Pentagon had bad luck in their careers, there is the legend of the name Pentagon being cursed. Pentagón Jr.'s catchphrase, Cero Miedo (Zero Fear) was created to show no fear to the curse.

On March 16, 2014, at AAA's Rey de Reyes show, Pentagón Jr. participated in an eight-man Lucha de Apuestas Domo de la Muerte ("Dome of Death" bet match), but escaped the cage before the end, keeping his mask safe. In August 2014, Pentagón was announced as one of five AAA wrestlers to star in Lucha Underground, a new American television series on El Rey. Pentagón debuted on the third episode on November 12, where he was defeated by his brother, Fénix, in a three-way, that also included Drago. On April 1, 2015, Pentagon participated in a tournament to crown the first LU Trios Champions. Pentagon, Sexy Star and Super Fly were defeated by Big Ryck, The Mack and Killshot. The following month Los Lucha Bros (Pentagon and Fenix) defeated "Team TBD" (Jason Cade and Jimmy Yuta) and The Dirty Blondes (Leo Brien and Mike Patrick) to become the first holders of the MLW World Tag Team Championship in the restarted MLW.

The long-running rivalry between Penta 0M and L.A. Park also became part of the storyline in MLW, leading to L.A. Park defeating Pentagon in a "Mexican Massacre" No disqualification match on September 9, 2018. At MLW Fightland, held on November 8, 2018, Los Lucha Bros successfully defended the MLW World Tag Team Championship against L.A. Park and his son El Hijo de L.A.

Impact Wrestling

Pentagón Jr. debuted with Impact Wrestling at an "Impact Wrestling vs Lucha Underground" co-promoted event at WrestleCon on April 6, 2018, winning a three-way match against Fénix and Impact World Champion Austin Aries. It was subsequently announced that he would face Fénix in a singles match at Redemption on April 22. However, following Alberto El Patron's dismissal from the promotion, Pentagón Jr. and Fénix were announced as his replacement in the main event, this time for the Impact World Championship.

Pentagón Jr. pinned Aries to win the championship. On June 3, Pentagón Jr. headlined an Impact Wrestling "One Night Only" special show titled after his catchphrase, Zero Fear, defeating Drake and Moose. He also entered a feud with Sami Callihan, culminating in a match at Slammiversary XVI on July 22. The stipulation for the match became a "mask vs. hair" match when Callihan attempted to remove Pentagón Jr.'s mask after attacking him with a baseball bat.

On June 5, 2018, it was announced that Pentagón Jr. was returning to AAA, participating in AAA's Poker de Ases ("Poker Aces") match at Triplemanía XXVI, putting his mask on the line against Psycho Clown, El Hijo del Fantasma and L.A. Park.

AEW and Ring of Honor

During an independent circuit show in Georgia on February 1, 2019, The Young Bucks came to the ring to offer the Lucha Brothers an All Elite Wrestling (AEW) contract in a confrontation that ended with a verbal agreement and a handshake. It was subsequently revealed that Pentagon Jr. On March 4, 2020, the Lucha Brothers formed a trio along with Pac on Dynamite known as Death Triangle.

In August 2021, the Lucha Brothers took part in a four-team eliminator tournament for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship, with the winners facing The Young Bucks at All Out in a steel cage match, defeating the Varsity Blonds and Jurassic Express to become number one contenders. At All Out on September 5, they defeated the Young Bucks to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship for the first time.

In early 2023, the Lucha Brothers would begin appearing for AEW's sister promotion, Ring of Honor (ROH).

1) The Lucha Bros. have won Tag Team Championships across the globe. Penta El Zero Miedo is known best for his tag team wrestling prowess as one half of Lucha Bros. The tag team comprised of himself and his real-life brother Rey Fenix. The pair have been wowing audiences all around the world with their Lucha ariel acrobatics for nearly a decade now. The Lucha Bros. are coming off a five year run in All Elite Wrestling where they captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships once and the AEW Trios Titles once alongside their partner Pac. A group collectively known as the Death Triangle. Penta and Fenix have also won tag team gold in Impact Wrestling, ROH, AAA, AAW and MLW.

2) Rey Fenix still under contract with AEW. Rey Fenix is currently going through an ugly divorce from AEW. Amid the rumors that he was interested in following his brother to WWE, All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan added injury time onto his contract which will keep Fenix under company control well into 2025. It's widely believed that he'd also make the move to WWE once his contract with AEW ultimately expires, but until then, Penta finds himself as a solo act. A position he's not unfamiliar with in the slightest.

3) Penta is an accomplished singles wrestler in his own right. Penta and Fenix rarely worked together during their early days in AAA & Lucha Underground. It wasn't until 2015 that they began their widely successful run as a tag team. In addition to his accomplished tag team resume, Pentagon Jr. has more than established himself as as a singles competitor over his two decades in the ring. He's captured multiple World Championships across various promotions including Impact Wrestling, AAA, AAW, PCW, and Lucha Underground.

As is usually the case with masked wrestlers who hail from Mexico, his identity has been kept under wraps. Penta's real name is still a secret after all these years. We know that he was born in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico in 1985. He has an number of brothers and sisters, including his younger brother Rey Fenix, but a precise number has never been reported. Other than that, the man who attacks his wrestling career with no fear is cloaked by a cloud of mystery.

5) Reversed the fortunes of a 'cursed' gimmick. It's not a uncommon for a wrestler to undergo multiple name and gimmick changes during the early years of their career, and Penta is no different. He began his journey in pro wrestling back in 2004 under the name Zaius and later adopted the "Dark Dragon" persona while wrestling in AAA. It wasn’t until 2012 when Penta donned the mask of a character that many believed to be cursed. Pentagon Jr. was the ninth man to take on the name that dated back to the mid 90's and embraced it's dark past with 'cero miedo' (zero fear), although he had every right to be at least a little trepidatious. The first man to assume the role suffered a career-ending neck injury, while another was falsely accused of murder.

Pentagón shares a close friendship with George Kittle.
