Salt Lake City will become the home of world MMA this Saturday to host UFC 307, the first of the company’s numbered events this October. UFC returns to Utah with a stacked Pay-Per-View event, headlined by a pair of thrilling championship bouts.

UFC 307: Pereira vs. Rountree Jr. takes place Saturday, October 5 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City with the main card at 10pm ET/7pm PT on ESPN+ PPV.
Main Event and Key Fighters
The fight card will be jointly headlined by the two main events: Pereira vs Rountree Jr and Pennington vs Peña - two of the most explosive fights in both categories. The signature event, featuring two can’t-miss championship fights, will be live from Delta Center on Saturday, Oct.
In addition to the presence of Alex Pereira, the event will feature names such as José Aldo, Kayla Harrison and Kevin Holland.

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira goes for his third successful title defense of 2024 when he collides with No. 8 ranked contender Khalil Rountree Jr. in a battle of KO artists. This marks the third defense for Pereira, who is coming off a Performance of the Night bonus with his second-round TKO of Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 this past June.
Pereira (11-2), one of the most devastating strikers the division has ever seen and the fastest two-division champion in UFC history, eyes his third title defense this year with another dominant performance and showstopping KO.
Also, UFC bantamweight champion Raquel Pennington defends against former titleholder and No.
Raquel Pennington defends the UFC bantamweight title against former UFC champion Julianna Peña in the co-main event. This is Pennington’s first title defense.
Pennington (16-9), who holds the division record for wins among active fighters, looks to make her first title defense following her victory over Mayra Bueno Silva earlier this year and extend her six-fight win streak.

Former two-time men’s UFC featherweight champion, 2023 UFC Hall of Fame inductee and current No. 10 bantamweight contender José Aldo (32-8) faces off against No. 2 women’s bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira (14-3) takes on No.
A grudge match 11 years in the making takes center stage when The Ultimate Fighter season 18 alums, champion Raquel Pennington and No. 1 contender Julianna Peña, go head-to-head for the women’s UFC bantamweight title.
Broadcast Details and Start Times
The prelims will be available on ESPNEWS and ESPN Deportes, as well as simulcast in English and Spanish on ESPN+, at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
The start time will depend on the results/duration of the previous fights.
The full event will be broadcast by ESPN+ on PPV in the United States and worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
