Morecambe Beachside Home: A Profitable Investment

Tyson Fury and his wife Paris have sold their Morecambe beachside home for a significant profit. The boxing star put the Lancashire home, one of two he owns in the area, on the market in July for £800,000. A month later, the house sold, but only after a price reduction to £700,000, according to Rightmove. Despite the £100,000 price drop, the Furys, who share seven children, still made a healthy profit on the property after buying it in 2015 for £480,000.

Fury kept hold of the property even after moving his family to a £1.7million mansion nearby in 2020. The house in Morecambe, Lancashire, sits in a 'prime' spot and offers 'panoramic coastal views' according to the listing.

In the past, Tyson has expressed his love for the seaside resort, stating: "People say to me, 'Why don't you live in California.' But why would I? I would never leave Morecambe. It's true beauty," reports the Mirror.

Property Features and Interior Design

The fancy home boasts a spacious garage, an 'elegant' staircase hall, and a dining kitchen which opens into a conservatory. Its white marble-style bathroom walls, diamond-spotted carpet, and dining chairs with door knockers add to the property's quirky style. For those who like waking up to a view, the main bedroom in the mansion includes a private balcony and an ensuite shower room.

Paris could be seen posing next to the unique staircase in snaps shared to her Instagram account between 2018 and 2021.

The new owners may be willing to have a personal touch from the previous owner, with a black and white portrait of 36-year-old Fury's head hanging in the hallway under a lavish chandelier.

Describing the property, the listing says the property is 'strongly recommended to discerning purchasers'. 'As an impressive period house of quality with modern appointments, it is ideal as a modern family home or for a professional couple looking to embrace the additional space, work from home or entertain,' it adds.

The listing says: 'Off the first floor landing is a principal bedroom with private balcony and ensuite shower room, second double bedroom with en suite cloakroom, two further double bedrooms, nursery/dressing room/office, luxury house bathroom and above the garage, double bedroom 5/games room.'

Enclosed, neatly kept and private gardens surround the property with a large seating terrace commanding fine views, lawns to the front and rear, and a private driveway offering off-street parking for two or three cars.

Relocation to a Larger Mansion

Fury then moved to a larger mansion further down the Morecambe coastline, honouring his public pledge not to leave his beloved home town - but it was reported the property was still in his portfolio in 2023.

Other Notable Events

Earlier this month, the couple renewed their wedding vows for a second time at a church in the South of France. The former world heavyweight champion shared with fans: "Paris and I got married again third time lucky. We had the most beautiful day in SOF. It holds a lot of special memories for us." Paris donned a white lace gown, whilst Tyson sported shorts and a substantial cross on a chain around his neck.

Their children, Venezuela, 15, Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, eight, Valencia, seven, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Athena, three, and 22-month-old Prince Rico, were also present at the ceremony in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

However, during their return trip, their private aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault. Taking to social media whilst aboard the flight, Fury revealed: "We've travelled 100 miles on the plane and the captain's come over to me and said, 'We've got to turn this plane around because there's a problem with one of the wings and it won't fix on the computer'. We're now spinning the plane around and going back to the airport where we started. Terrifying."

Earlier this year, Fury declared he was retiring from boxing following consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. However, last week he shared images of himself returning to training and has been rumoured to be considering a comeback to the ring next year.

In July, Fury revealed he would be enticed to don the gloves once more by the possibility of a third fight with the undisputed world champion Usyk, 38.
