- 14 oz Chicken Fries - I used a half bag of these chicken fries and they cooked up great.
- Tyson Any’tizers Chicken Fries- These can be found in the frozen chicken section.
You can also find Kirkwood brand (Aldi), Kroger brand, Morningstar Farms and their “Chik’n”, Yummy brand (Sams Club) and others. I purchased the Tyson Anytizers brand from Kroger.

Step 1 - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to heat for about 3 minutes. This ensures your chicken fries cook evenly.
Step 2 - Arrange the Chicken Fries
Arrange the Chicken Fries: Place the frozen chicken fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Place 28 chicken fries into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Remove Tyson chicken fries from packaging. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray.

Step 3 - Cook
Set temperature to 400°F(200°C) and cook for 10 to 12 mins or until heated through and crispy to your liking. Cook at 390F for 12 minutes flipping halfway through. Once the timer goes off, remove the chicken fries from the basket.

Tips and Tricks
- Just because the chicken and frozen, you still want to use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the popcorn chicken is 165F.
- Flipping the chicken fries halfway through ensures an even an even cook.
- My tip for air frying frozen foods is to look at the instructions on the package and do same temperature and start with half the cooking time. Then add 1-2 min more if you need to. You can always add time - but you can’t UNBURN something.
- Air fryers cook differently it’s ok to add more time as needed.
How long to cook Tyson Anytizer chicken fries in the air fryer?
Our Chicken fries typically get ready in 12 mins with no preheat in my Cosori dual blaze air fryer. It could take a couple more minutes in other air fryers or less in time if the air fryer was preheated.

Why is my chicken fries not crispy?
The most common reason why chicken fries don’t get crispy in the air fryer would due overcrowding as this would prevent proper heat circulation as it cooks.
Can I put raw chicken in the air fryer?
While you can put raw chicken in the air fryer and cook it to perfection, these Tyson chicken fries are not raw. They’ve been precooked frozen and sold to be reheated later.
Storage and Reheating
With frozen foods like these, I always recommend trying to make just what you’ll eat. But if you do have leftovers, store in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
Substitutions
Sometimes it is hard to find Tyson products so you can use other brands. If you don’t like chicken fries, you can use popcorn chicken or chicken nuggets.
